The radiance of metal becomes more enchanting when its surface is embellished with a raised design.    Repoussé, the classical means of embossing metal through hammering and annealing, is an ancient art,  dating back almost as far as metalsmithing itself. A tradition in almost every  corner of the world,       repoussé was used to decorate architectural relief, furniture, jewellery and religious art.

Home based near Edinburgh , I create an evolving and diverse range of hand embossed copper notebooks and journals.   Diaries, address books,  wedding albums &  visitors books alongside photo-albums, travel journals as well as the custom made panel for framing.
